Very nice service, tasty patties, decent pricing. The patties were nice, flaky and tasted great. The spicy beef patty was my favourite (it’s not very spicy). I just wish they had a bit more filling in them. Would definitely recommend trying them out!

Had the Oxtail for lunch! Food was flavorful and fresh. Portions were perfect for lunch... but I can always use more plantain!!! Please caribbean restaurants can we get more plantain! (Alright, rant over). I really have no complaints with the taste. I had myself a great lunch. I'll be back to try other menu items but I'm impressed so far! The owner was a pleasant fellow and made me feel welcome and I appreciated that! Based in the food and the owner, I hope this place does well.

I’m thrilled. This man was SO NICE, the place is notably clean and the food was really good! I got oxtail, dumpling and a side of plantain and my partner got curry goat, dumpling and a chicken patty. Fresh and tasty as far as I’m concerned! Don’t live in the area unfortunately, but we WILL be back. Dined in.

I don’t understand how anyone can leave a bad review because this has got to be THE best place to get Jamaican food in Ottawa. We ordered the patties(flakey crust and meaty filling) curry goat(succulent and flavourful), oxtail(tender and tasty), curry chicken(hearty), dumplings(soft and warm), rice and peas(superb), plantains(sweet and caramelized) and drinks shown in the picture. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I will most definitely come back here in the future and recommend it to everyone I know.
